Our platform for up-and-coming designers

Designers and design schools from all over the world are invited to apply to Greenhouse. All applications are evaluated by a jury consisting of renowned names in the industry. Stockholm Furniture Fair brings hundreds of design companies together under one roof. It offers young designers the opportunity to exhibit in a context that is well attended by both producers and the press.

The Greenhouse jury is made up of well-established designers and architects, carefully selected to discover and highlight the next generation of designers.

Who can apply?

You can apply as either an independent designer or a design school. As an independent designer, you should be at the beginning of your career and have either no or very small-scale production. For a design school to apply, the education must be in the fields of design, craft and architecture. The training must be post-secondary.

 

How much does it cost?

Independent designers pay an entry fee of SEK 7 490 and a fee for the stand itself. 9 sqm, SEK 2 250. 12 sqm, SEK 3 000.

Schools pay an entry fee of SEK 8 490 plus stand costs based on stand size. 30 sqm, SEK 3 600. 50 sqm, SEK 6 000. 80 sqm, SEK 9 600.

What should I consider in my application?

The jury values curiosity and innovation. For a strong application, focus on a few well thought-out products with a cohesive theme. Explain how your product solves practical problems or challenges the boundaries of design. Please tell us about the material and, if possible, something about the current production method.

When will I be notified?

The jury will meet after the application deadline in Septemberand, and shortly thereafter, we begin notifying those selected by the jury.
