Guest of Honour 2025 – Faye Toogood

From fashion to furniture, textiles to sculpture, few designers move as seamlessly between creative fields as British designer Faye Toogood. As Stockholm Furniture Fair’s Guest of Honor 2025, Toogood has been given the honour of creating a large installation in the fair’s entrance hall. Her exhibition in the entrance hall will set the tone for the fair, which in 2025 is dedicated to the diverse landscape of design.

– It is an honor to be invited to the Stockholm Furniture Fair. I believe that creativity is the connecting link that can unite us all. I will take this conviction with me to Stockholm. “I want to celebrate thinking and creating, artists and craftspeople,” says artist and designer Faye Toogood.

Faye Toogood has made a name for herself by challenging the norms. “Free” from a traditional education, she has built a unique career and become a prominent name in the industry. Her works have been acquired by prestigious museums such as the Vitra Design Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the National Gallery of Victoria. With her intuitive approach, she has created contemporary classics such as the Roly-Poly Chair and collaborated with brands such as Tacchini, CC-Tapis, Hem, Poltrona Frau and Driade, as well as commissioned work for Mulberry, Hermès and Commes des Garçons.

Toogood established his studio in London in 2008. In 2013, she was joined by her sister Erika, who is a trained pattern maker. Together they launched a collection of outerwear inspired by different professions, which became the basis for the acclaimed Toogood brand. Today, Faye Toogood’s work ranges from product and interior design to art and fashion, and she does not allow herself to be limited by a single discipline or a defined way of working. Her studio is filled with like-minded creatives – architects, sculptors, furniture makers and illustrators – who cross-fertilize each project and create unique works.

Faye Toogood’s exhibition in the entrance hall will mark the 2025 edition of the Stockholm Furniture Fair, dedicated to the multifaceted design landscape.
