Scandinavian design in an international context
Stockholm Furniture Fair is the premier meeting place for Scandinavian design — a platform where creativity, sustainability, innovation and business take center stage. Nowhere else are so many Scandinavian design companies and professionals gathered under one roof. For five days, our halls are filled with the latest news and innovations in design and architecture. With visitors from nearly 100 countries, Scandinavian design is showcased in an international context.
By bringing together the industry — from established companies to the designers of the future — the fair acts as a catalyst for new collaborations, networks and business. One example is Greenhouse, our platform for emerging designers, design students and schools from around the world. Here, the voices of the next generation meet an international audience of architects, buyers, producers, press and design enthusiasts.
In parallel with the fair, we organize Stockholm Design Week — a week of design events across the city. As an extension of the fair, Stockholm Design Week strengthens Stockholm as a global design destination.
Stockholm Furniture Fair is organized by Stockholmsmässan, which will continue to operate in Älvsjö at least until 2034.
