Industry Talks

Industry Talks—a platform for the future of the design industry

Ahead of 2025, Stockholm Furniture Fair introduces Industry Talks, a seminar program focusing on current issues in the design industry, with a particular focus on innovation, sustainability and circular transition. The program is a collaboration with the industry association TMF and brings together leading experts, innovators and decision makers in the furniture and interior design industry.

Through an extensive seminar program, Industry Talks creates a unique platform for knowledge exchange and dialogue, aimed at the entire industry. Over five days, visitors will gain in-depth knowledge of current topics and future issues. In total, the program offers some twenty seminars on everything from new sustainability solutions, sustainability requirements and digital product passports to circular economy and procurement, as well as how AI and new digital tools are reshaping design and production processes. Partners and participants in the program include the Swedish Architects Association, the Swedish Institute and Svensk Form, as well as leading companies and research institutes.

– Our new Industry Talks stage is the most requested and sought-after forum from the furniture and design industry – and we are so pleased to present a strong and relevant program of speakers and panels in collaboration with TMF. The collaboration shows how important it is for the entire industry to join forces to tackle the big issues and challenges from different perspectives, but with a common ambition to create a better future,” says Daniel Heckscher, Project Manager for Stockholm Furniture Fair and Stockholm Design Week.
