Greenhouse

Our platform for up-and-coming designers

Participants from all over the world are welcome to apply to Greenhouse. You can apply as an independent designer or as a design school. A jury will then select those who will have the opportunity to exhibit. There is no age limit for applicants, but you should be at the beginning of your career. Schools applying must offer courses in design, craft or architecture.

How it works — independent designer

  1. Applications are open from April 15–September 14. For an application to be complete, we need a CV, a product presentation and a stand sketch. There is no cost to apply. The jury values creativity and innovation, and recommends focusing on fewer, more elaborate products.
  2. After the application period, the jury makes its selection and notification of participation is sent in October. Successful applicants will have a few days to accept their place. We then start planning the layout of the area. Once the exhibitor placements are finalized, invoices are sent out.
  3. By mid-October, we need images for communication – each exhibitor needs to submit a product image and a portrait in high resolution.
  4. Wall, floor and lighting are included in the stand. If you want to make options, Event Service will help.

Application process — school

  1. Applications are open from April 15–September 14. Schools participating for the first time need to submit a complete application with a presentation of the school, the programme, the course and a concept idea for the stand – or pictures of previous projects. Schools that have participated in the past need to submit a basic idea of what is planned for next year.
  2. After the application period, the jury reviews the applications. To ensure quality and a common thread in the Greenhouse area, the jury can provide feedback and suggest adjustments to the concept.
  3. Notification of participation and stand placement will be sent in October. Once the placement is confirmed, the invoice is sent out and planning can begin. Together with Eventservice, you can order the products and services needed to realize the stand.
